Fraser Yacht Insurance has been placing yacht and marine insurance for 50 years.  Founder, David Fraser, established the yacht insurance agency in 1961 as an associate company of his yacht brokerage firm, Fraser Yachts.  When realizing that yacht owners had a difficult time finding an insurance broker familiar with the specialized nature of marine risks, he added the yacht insurance agency to his already thriving business.

The business grew over the years to insure boats and yachts of all sizes, worldwide cruising, chartering and eventually, commercial marine insurance.     

Today, Fraser Yacht Insurance is a separate, specialty marine insurance agency working with yacht owners throughout the world.  The company employs licensed Account Managers who are dedicated to the client and their particular risk.  The Account Managers are knowledgeable in the policy forms from each company and are happy to discuss coverage in depth.  We have insured thousands of yachts of all types and sizes and we also work with marina operators, boat dealers, yacht brokers and shiprepairers on their unique commercial marine insurance requirements.
